Growing your own fresh, green and healthy trays of organic wheatgrass in your own home is not only easy, it's inexpensive and you know that it's organic!

Why grow your own? Let's do the maths...

Each wheatgrass tray should yield around 6 x 30ml shots of wheatgrass juice. This will depend on the quality of your juicer and the success of your tray's growth but that's a pretty good average.

4kg of wheatgrain should grow up to around 16 trays of wheatgrass.

16 trays @ 6 shots per tray = let's round it down to 90 shots. Consume one shot per day, that equals 90 days of shots from 4kg's of wheatgrain. That's three months worth.

After your initial outlay on the kit, your second 3 months cost is just some new wheatgrain and perhaps some paper tray liners and fertiliser - maximum spend $35.00. This makes your per-shot cost around 30 cents each! Bargain.

Compare the price of buying 90 daily shots of wheatgrass juice at a Juice Bar at $2.50-3.00 per shot ($230-270 in total) to that of growing your own at home! It really doesn't compare...and you have total control and knowledge over how it grows and how fresh it is!
